We were really careful with our 2nd home’s renovations as we intended it to be a long-term home with our needs and preferences covered. Met about 7 IDs and had a good gut feel with Jasmine at The Alchemists Design right from the start. I had specifically asked for her after reading through the reviews and saw photos of her works on The Alchemists Design Facebook page.   No regrets as the renovation journey is generally smooth and on schedule. Jasmine’s aesthetic sense is balanced with practicality, and with the budget in mind. She’ll also share her thoughts on what work or what may not work, and I like it this way so that we make considered decisions. We wanted a darker warm contemporary theme with lots of storage space without feeling overly imposing and she hit the bull’s eye with her tasteful proposal. She also included elements of fun in our children’s rooms as well. Bonus is she’s a really pleasant lady to communicate with.   Workmanship of the contractors are generally good overall as well, with compliments from visitors or even furniture delivery guys! Definitely recommended! So many good photos to post but just include my favourite areas for now. Thank you Jasmine and Team with The Alchemists Design for working with us to create a cozy home!

Didn't have to worry about anything as they are on top of it all!

Our ID is Fairoz and Haryati and we do not regret engaging them. We went to 6 different ID but we end up reverting back to them due to professionalism and they can give us what we want and envision for our kitchen which most ID end up not agreeing to.
The whole process was smooth, explained in detail and even if some item that we have pick was not available at the last minute, they are quick to give us a solution to it. We didn’t even have to worry about anything as they are on top of it all. Thank you so much to them and we hope we can deal again in the future.

Within our budget, timeline and chemistry

House renovation is definitely not an easy journey. We deliberated between engaging a contractor or an Interior Designer. We listed down the pros/cons and decided to go ahead with an Interior Designer.
We have shortlisted 4 renovation companies which we felt could deliver what we wanted.
Among the other 3 companies, The Alchemist Design was within our budget, timeline and chemistry with our ID Ivonne definitely played a major role in choosing The Alchemist Design, more importantly we also seek her opinions on renovation ideas.
Although there were amendments and follow up to be done, there was no objection and appointments were promptly followed up. She has also provided updates, and site supervision even at late evening hours.
Highly recommended, Ivonne and The Alchemist Design for all your renovation needs.

Thank you for turning my humble abode into our dream home!

The main reason why I chose Alchemist was due to our connection during our first meet up with Haryati and her confidence in fulfilling our super tight timeline. I’ve no regret engaging Haryati as she is super professional and patience in explaining to us on the reno works in detail. All renovation works surely come with hiccups, but Haryati was able to rectify ours immediately. She was very honest with us on things that can or cannot be done, advising us in planning within our budget and we’re very satisfied with it. A very responsible ID whom I highly recommend! Dealing with her is such a breeze! No complaint! Thank you Haryati, for turning my humble abode into our dream home.
